Topic :Materials Research: fundamental synthesis, atomic kinetics and energy harvesting

Abstract:

The property measurement of single nanomaterial has been an intriguing and impressive task for a material scientist. Moreover, the research of fundamental mechanism of nanomaterials has been upgraded to another level: in situ observation. Using the technique of in situ transmission electron microscopy, we can investigate the reaction process in real time. In this talk, I will discuss the mechanical property measurement of single Si nanowire, thermoelectric property measurement of nanomaterials and in situ TEM study: silicide nanorod, CuInSe₂ and In₂Se₃.
