 CMOS capacitive sensors with low-power interface circuits

Abstract

Capacitive sensors can be found in many applications, including acceleration, proximity, position or displacement, humidity, and fluid level detection. Nowadays, the readout signal is typically required to be in the digital form, so that the digital signal processing unit can further analyze the data. Low-power interface circuits are critical to provide high-resolution data with efficient power consumption. In this talk, a few capacitive sensors will be reviewed and the integrated interface circuits will be emphasized.
