Topic : The Big Data Industry of Offshore Wind Energy in Taiwan: Development and Applications。
Green energy is one of the five big technical innovation of industrial products. The government has conducted to plan a goal of 20% for the renewable energy, in which the offshore wind farms will be established to produce 3GW (600 units) in 2025, and 4GW (800 units) in 2030. The production of each wind turbine could produce a commercial outcome of 800 million NTD. The total investigation is over 640 billion NTD. The main purpose of this research aims to choose 13 typical wind farm locations to develop "The big data industry of offshore wind energy in Taiwan". The focus of the study lies in the points of development and application. Big data including meteology, ocean climates reaction and constructions are collected and set up. Modeling for the simulations of typhoons, surges and storm waves is integrated in developed. In-situ measurements are also applied in the big data storehouse to provide a optimal solution for the real construction. The risk of installation could be reduced and cost down by the big data analysis.
